Toddler Program
Ages 1–3 Years – Private School
Our Toddler program provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers ages 1–3 years. Using the Creative Curriculum, children engage in developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development. Through sensory exploration, music, movement, art, and hands-on activities, children build independence, confidence, and foundational skills for future learning. The program is divided into below groups: Tiny Tots, Toddlers, and Twaddlers, to better meet the developmental needs of each age level.
Tots & Toddlers Program
Ages 1–2.5 Years
This program focuses on fostering curiosity, independence, and early foundational skills through hands-on experiences. Using the Creative Curriculum, we support active learning and social-emotional development through meaningful interactions and exploration. Children learn at their own pace in a nurturing environment designed to meet their developmental needs.
The Twaddler program provides a dynamic and engaging environment where children continue to grow and develop through the Creative Curriculum. Instruction focuses on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, helping prepare children for the next stage of early education. Through structured activities and play-based learning, children build confidence, independence, and school readiness skills.
Our private preschool program uses the Creative Curriculum to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that prepares children for kindergarten. Through purposeful play, hands-on investigations, and teacher-guided instruction, children develop early literacy, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional skills. The curriculum encourages creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. To support kindergarten readiness, we also incorporate age-appropriate worksheets that help strengthen fine motor development while reinforcing foundational concepts in literacy, mathematics such as letter and number recognition, tracing, beginning sounds, counting, patterning. These worksheet activities are thoughtfully integrated with hands-on learning experiences to support kindergarten readiness and build confidence in emerging academic skills.
Ages 3–5 Years – Nutley Raising Raiders Public School Program
The Universal Pre-K (UPreK) program, offered through Nutley Raising Raiders, utilizes the Creative Curriculum and aligns with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards. This high-quality, play-based program promotes school readiness by supporting children's growth in language and literacy, mathematics, science, social-emotional development, and critical thinking. Through meaningful interactions, hands-on exploration, and individualized learning experiences, children develop the skills necessary for a successful transition to kindergarten.
This program provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment where preschoolers continue learning through play during the summer months. Children participate in theme-based, hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and early learning skills. The program includes a balance of indoor and outdoor experiences such as arts and crafts, music and movement, sensory play, water play, cooking, storytelling, science experiments, and group games, all designed to support social-emotional development, language growth, early literacy, math concepts, and fine motor skills. Summer camp also promotes teamwork, independence, and confidence as children explore new interests in a relaxed and enjoyable setting with weekly changing themes to keep them excited and engaged.
This program runs from September to June and is designed to strengthen school readiness skills through focused, small-group instruction with a very low student-to-teacher ratio. The program provides targeted academic enrichment for both PreK (ages 3–4) and Kindergarten readiness (ages 4–5), using age-appropriate activities and intentional teaching strategies to build foundational skills in listening, reading, writing, and math. Through structured and engaging learning experiences, children develop confidence, independence, and the academic skills needed for future success in school and beyond.
Our Physical Enrichment Program provides children with the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging activities through partnerships with local providers, including dance, gymnastics, soccer, fitness, and other movement-based programs. These experiences are designed to support the whole child by promoting physical development, coordination, teamwork, confidence, and overall well-being, while also encouraging children to explore new interests in a fun, active, and developmentally appropriate way integrated into their preschool experience.
